Dog Annecdote # 104

Sunny day, check. Overgrown grass, check. Overexcited dog, check.

We have dozens of pictures of Tubby and unfortunately very few of Poochini. It's not favoritism! (ok, so maybe it is) But Pooch's afraid of the camera. We made the mistake of using the flash a couple of years ago (but never again!) and we think it flashed directly to her eyes. That single event traumatized her forever. So whenever we whip out the camera, whatever shape or form, she tucks her tail and walks as far away as possible.

Tub's the opposite. She doesn't mind the camera at all and just carries on normally. And based on the pictures, that's how she normally runs. I don't know if 'run' is the word. She bounds, leaps, romps, frolicks? And she does that every single time we call on her. I don't know how she can have that blissfully happy disposition all the time, but she does. She should share her happy pills with Pooch.
